“Join us on Sunday, June 28th at the Canaan Farmers Hall at 5pm for an evening of conversation, food, and storytelling with Kat Kirwan of Mercer.

Kat is a children’s book author, chef at 122 Corson, and owner of the Sturdy Birch Retreat Center. She’ll share the passions and motivations behind her many projects, discuss how agriculture is deeply rooted in all the work she does, and reflect on the role food plays in connection, creativity, and community.

Please bring a potluck dish to share featuring a vegetable or ingredient you feel has a character all its own.

The evening will include conversation, audience questions, and readings from Kat’s writing, followed by a community potluck.
